Beschreibung
Zusammenfassung:A rehabilitative coping skills module employing problem solving and cognitive behavioral therapy and an experimental repeated-measure design was tested on 55 randomly selected persons severely handicapped by schizophrenia, most of whom had lived almost half of their lives in psychiatric wards. Unlike the control group of 44 comparable schizophrenics, the experimental group exhibited a significant decrease in delusions and increase in self-esteem, and maintained hygiene levels.
