Effect of morning versus evening intake of simvastatin on the serum cholesterol level in patients with coronary artery disease

Simvastatin had a better effect on total and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol when morning and evening dose regimens were compared, whereas no difference in high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, triglycerides, or high, sensitive C-reactive protein was demonstrated in this crossover study.
