Zusammenfassung:We report a case of hand-assisted D2 subtotal gastrectomy with Roux-en-Y reconstruction for advanced gastric cancer. This case shows the advantages of hand-assisted laparoscopic surgery for gastric cancer. Extended lymph node dissection and intracorporeal anastomosis are feasible and easier with the presence of the internal hand. Our method is an alternative to total laparoscopic radical gastrectomy.
