Zusammenfassung: | Patients with combined aneurysms in the thoracic and abdominal aorta need to be treated at experienced centres. These complicated aneurysms are today treated with various combinations of open and/or endovascular techniques. The complexity of the interventions is associated with high morbidity and mortality. By forming a structured organisation for care of these patients a better outcome can be expected. In this article we present the approach taken in Göteborg to meet these challenges. |
