Aortic Valve Replacement in the Calcified Small Aortic Root by Hemitranslocation of the Valve

: An alternative technique of aortic valve replacement is described for a small aortic root with a severe large calcific degeneration of the supraaortic area at the noncoronary sinus. This technique is used when Nicks or Manouguian procedures are not applicable.
