Self-Assembled Magnetic Matrices for DNA Separation Chips
When a constant, homogenous magnetic field is applied to a suspension of superparamagnetic particles confined in a thin gap perpendicular to the field, the particles self-organize into a fixed, quasi-regular array of columns.
