Rapid communication: Thirty-eight polymorphic microsatellite markers for mapping in rainbow trout

Microsatellite repeats were identified by sequencing clones from microsatellite-enriched libraries constructed from genomic DNA. Microsatellite markers were developed by designing primers to amplify the repeats.
