Zusammenfassung:A 60-year-old woman presented with a rare schwannoma arising from a spinal accessory nerve at the C1-2 levels manifesting as cervico-occipital pain. The tumor was removed by surgery with the involved segment of the nerve. She had no postoperative neurological deficit. Histological examination confirmed the diagnosis of schwannoma. Surgical removal is recommended for such cases.
