Zusammenfassung: | Chronic recurrent multifocal osteomyelitis (CRMO) is a rare disorder characterized by a chronic inflammatory musculoskeletal process that presents with lytic lesions of the multiple bones with pain and swelling of the affected areas. Sakran et al present a case report of a six-month-old female infant with CRMO. The patient did not respond to antibiotics, had a minimal response to nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory therapies, but did have a relatively quick response to low-dose corticosteroids. |
