Zusammenfassung: | Long-term care facilities are in crisis struggling with staffing shortages, increased regulations, and reimbursement constraints. A major medical center sponsored a 1-year education initiative where staff development offerings and medical center resources were allocated to support long-term care staff. The purpose was to provide visible support to area long-term care facilities through value recognition and educational offerings. The goal was to develop, implement, and support ongoing improvement strategies based on outcome evaluation of the program. |
