Zusammenfassung:Levels of cytokinesare increased in congestive heart failure, but their origin remains unclear. In this study, we showed increased peripheral circulating levels of tumor necrosis factor-alpha compared with coronary sinus levels in patients with advanced heart failure, suggesting that cytokine production could be predominantly peripheral in this condition.
