Zusammenfassung:A 76-year-old man was found to have a left recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy, due to a spontaneous patent ductus arteriosus aneurysm. Ortner’s syndrome (left recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy caused by cardiovascular pathology) secondary to patent ductus arteriosus aneurysm has not previously been described in the literature. We present a case, illustrated with surface rendering computer tomogram reconstructions.
