Zusammenfassung:	Three minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of primary and secondary malignant hepatic tumors - percutaneous ethanol injection, laser-induced thermotherapy and percutaneous radiofrequency thermotherapy--are reviewed and discussed. The initial clinical results suggest that these technics are safe and potentially effective in selected patients with inoperable liver tumors.
