Zusammenfassung:Jackson-Pratt (JP) drains are commonly used after urologic surgery. One of the complications associated with the use of JP drains occurs when the drain breaks, leaving the distal fenestrated part at the time of attempted removal. We describe the endoscopic retrieval of a retained JP drain, which was safely performed with local anesthesia and minimal risk.
