Zusammenfassung:Contrast enhancement computed tomography (CT) showed the following: emboli in the right main pulmonary artery and in the segmental branches of the right pulmonary artery superior and lower lobes, in the distal of the left main pulmonary artery, in the central and inferior lobe segmental branches, in the renal artery exit in the abdominal aorta and the left renal artery, in the hepatic artery, and the splenic artery (Figs. 1 and 2A, B). [...]PDE is a rare condition and a patient with acute PE or DVT who also develops signs of systemic embolism should be evaluated for a PFO.
