Zusammenfassung: | We report 2 cases of diffuse osteoblastic metastasis from early type gastric cancer. A 41-year-old woman complained of lumbago. She presented poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma on gastroscopic examination. The other case was a 64-year-old man who had a history of surgical removal of chondrosarcoma of the left rib. He presented signet-ring cell carcinoma on gastroscopic examination. Osseous metastasis was confirmed by biopsy in both patients. In patients with diffuse osteoblastic metastasis, bone scintigraphy shows remarkably increased accumulation or ‘super scan’, which shows usually more clear finding than positron emission tomography with F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose. |
