Considers a number of ethical dilemmas commonly faced by doctors. Such dilemmas may be separated into those with consensual & non-consensual views, but debate continues. If a physician confronts a legal dilemma, then he should consult a reputably attorney or attempt to acquire a court decision. There are many instances when the requirements of ethical codes are incompatible with the legal interest; the consensus holds that the latter take priority.
