Dr. Schafer: In the spirit of AFMR's tradition of grassroots activism and advocacy on behalf of medical research, I think members should work proactively (and relentlessly) with the leaderships of their medical schools and professional societies to effect local and national changes that will ensure the future vitality of physician-scientist career paths. |
