Zusammenfassung:	The hypervariable region V3 of the env gene contains immunogenicity determinants of the virus and has been widely studied. Only a few studies have been published on the V3 region of HIV-1 in hemophiliac patients. We analyzed the env-encoded V3 loop sequences of 21 HIV-1-infected hemophiliac patients attended at the La Paz Hemophilia Center. The samples were obtained between 1990 and 1991.
