Zusammenfassung: | 79th Annual Meeting of the Swiss Society for Dermatology and Venereology Acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis, first described in 1964 by Robert Douglas Sweet [1], has been termed Sweet's syndrome. Up to now more than 500 cases have been documented in the literature. The overall female/male ratio is 3.7:1 [2] with a broad incidence peak in the fourth to seventh decades (woman average 50, men 65 years old) and an onset of the disease clustered in two peaks in spring and autumn. 27 cases of Sweet's syndrome have been reported in childhood (mostly during the first year of life). |
