Zusammenfassung:A 9-year-old girl with a history of left cerebral hemiatrophy and seizure disorder had a generalized seizure after 2 weeks of mild intermittent hoarseness and inspiratory stridor. She required urgent intubation for 48 hours because of episodes of status epilepticus 5 and 3 months before this admission. Our service was asked to evaluate her for postictal inspiratory stridor, hoarseness progressing to aphonia, and mild respiratory distress.
