Zusammenfassung:	Neuroendoscopy has never been used for diagnosis-making and removal of large parenchymal viable parasites associated with severe mass effect. Satisfactory and complication-free removal of the parenchymal cysticerci was achieved after neuroendoscopical diagnosis in a patient with parenchymal parasites, with immediate remission of clinical alterations related to raised intracranial pressure.
