Zusammenfassung:The most common infectious complication of CVID is sinopulmonary disease, and brain abscess is rare.2 IgG replacement (intravenous or subcutaneous) is the standard of care for patients with CVID and reduces infection risks.3,4 However, coexisting morbidities, protective levels, and the repertoire of specific antibodies, IgG levels, and metabolism, even with "normal" IgG measured levels, vary over time and thus translate into differences in clinical risks that might not become apparent without keen follow-up by experienced clinical immunologists.
