Zusammenfassung: | Depression is prevalent in women with coronary artery disease, and increases morbidity and mortality following major coronary events. We demonstrated that women with depression had markedly abnormal overall cardiovascular risk profiles and have marked benefits in exercise capacity, obesity indexes, behavioral characteristics (including depression), and quality of life following formal, outpatient phase II cardiac rehabilitation and exercise training programs. |
