Intraoral technique to adapt a bar and clip in an implant-retained, tissue-supported complete denture

This article presents a procedure for the attachment of clips to a bar supported by implants. This intraoral procedure prevents the possible locking of the denture onto the bar when autopolymerizing resin is used to attach the clips to the denture. Should the denture get locked onto the bar, this procedure allows for the separation of the denture from the bar extraorally without affecting the implants or the patient.
