Zusammenfassung: | Kurdoglu et al report case of a hemorrhagic complication of heparin anticoagulation in a patient at 32 weeks' gestation presenting with referred pain in her left thigh. In this case, a 33-year-old woman, gravida 6, para 3, abortion 2, was referred to Gazi University Hospital, Obstetrics and Gynecology clinic at 27 weeks' gestation with a diagnosis of pre-eclampsia and a previous stroke attack. Moreover, the results of the medical tests conducted on this patient are discussed. Furthermore, Kurdoglu et al conclude that heparin therapy during pregnancy can cause serious maternal and fetal complications. In addition, they suggest that massive concealed bleeding in the retroperitoneal region must always be suspected in cases of doubtful lower extremity pain resembling radiculopathy. |
