Zusammenfassung: | The practical peak voltage (PPV) was introduced with special emphasis being placed on the X-ray tube voltage range pertinent to diagnostic radiology, i.e. from 20 kV to 150 kV. In this paper, an extension of the range of definition of the PPV up to X-ray tube voltages of 300 kV is presented. This is realized by combining the weighting function derived for the field of diagnostic radiology with a newly derived one that covers the voltage range from 150 kV to 300 kV. |
