Zusammenfassung:Abstract Dissection of a cerebral blood vessel is a rare complication of acute neurotrauma with a high incidence of morbidity and mortality. We report on a case of a pediatric patient with severe neurological symptoms in whom angiography showed evidence of a basilar artery dissection. The patient was heparinized and recovered uneventfully.
