Zusammenfassung:Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and peripheral arterial disease (PAD) are both inflammatory conditions. Statins are commonly used in patients with PAD and have anti-inflammatory properties, which may have beneficial effects in patients with COPD.
