Zusammenfassung:Chemical hand‐waving: Dynamic molecular motion between two distinct structures (contraction/extension) is displayed by an octahedral cobalt complex (shown schematically), in which the distance between two coordinated methoxy oxygen atoms changed from 0.3 to 1.3 nm. Furthermore, the helical direction of the extended complex was inverted in response to NO3− ions, and stretching and inverting motions occurred reversibly and repeatedly.
