Zusammenfassung: | Both Tennessee and Illinois regularly review progress and revise rules, whether mandatory or voluntary. Feedback and recommendations from hospitals and surveyors are carefully reviewed and considered to evaluate and modify existing rules and recommendations. Each state has recognized that the critical component to successful implementation of a facility designation program has been the support of key organizations within the states; representatives from these organizations have been and remain an integral part of the process. Here, Hohenhaus et al stress that the standards and guidelines developed for a facility recognition process can be utilized to identify the pediatric capabilities of a facility and its ability to provide a specific level of care. |
