Zusammenfassung:	We experienced a fatal case caused by Brucella abortus with multifocal necrosis confirmed by culture and polymerase chain reaction. Our case highlights that the clinician should be aware of the potential for fatality when a patient with brucellosis shows dissemination of abscess or nodules with no calcification in the liver, lung, pleura, and spine.
