Zusammenfassung:A 49‐year‐old man with a history of hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM) presented in sustained monomorphic ventricular tachycardia (SMVT) 8 days post‐alcohol septal ablation. A dual chamber implantable cardioverter defibrillator ICD was implanted and the patient experienced another episode of VT 3 weeks later, which was terminated by an ICD shock. This case demonstrates probable scar‐induced reentrant VT post‐alcohol septal ablation, a likely rare but hypothesized complication of this procedure.
