Zusammenfassung: | Table 1 - Subgroup analysis of fibrinolysis rate for isolated posterior wall AMI To the Editor, We write to you with results from an internet-based survey of practicing emergency physicians (EPs) and their use of additional lead electrocardiograms (ECGs) in patients with chest pain suspected of acute coronary syndromes; after review of the clinical information and ECG, the physician was then asked if he/she would consider fibrinolysis. Perhaps recent literature on the use of low-molecular-weight heparin, glycoprotein inhibitors, and intravenous antiplatelet agents has confused EPs about the management of acute coronary syndromes, even in the setting of obvious AMI needing prompt revascularization. |
