Zusammenfassung: | Electromyography evidence, and kinematic hind-foot studies, might reveal paralysis of the peroneal evertors or continuing EMG activity and even clonic contractions in the tibialis muscles during the swing phase of walking.6 Similarly, swing-limb circumduction due to poststroke knee stiffness could be caused by inappropriate firing of the rectus femoris (preventing knee flexion).5 EMG testing is needed to prove whether surgical transfer of the muscle could re-establish swing-phase knee flexion. When "upper motor neurone", "head injury/ orthopaedics", "neuro-rehabilitation", and "equino varus" were added, 34 further articles reporting non-experimental design studies were found. |
