Zusammenfassung: | Physical examination revealed lax skin masses on her neck (Figure 1) and trunk, the upper part of both arms (Figure 2), and the inner area of both thighs. The results of routine laboratory tests (ie, complete blood cell count, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, liver function, and serum amylase, lactate dehydrogenase, calcium, electrolyte, total serum protein, urea, and creatinine levels) and radiography of the chest were all within the normal range. Whether granulomatous slack skin is a benign entity, a variant of mycosis fungoides, a precursor of a malignant lymphoma, or a peculiar host reaction to a malignant lymphoma is still controversial.2 Some authors suggest that it can result from a clonal rearrangement of the T-cell receptor genes.2 It has also been suggested that granulomatous slack skin and Hodgkin disease represent cytogenetically related lymphoproliferative disorders. |
