Placenta praevia percreta with bladder invasion: An increasing obstetric catastrophe in modern practice

Two cases are reported of placenta pecreta with bladder invasion that occurred within 4 months of each other at an inner city hospital. Women with this form of abnormal placentation are at high risk of a potentially catastrophic outcome.
