Prevention of Adhesion and Promotion of Pseudoislets Formation from a β-Cell Line by Fluorocarbon Emulsions
So far, but no further. A perfluorocarbon (PFC) emulsion induces formation of pseudoislets from MIN6 b‐cells that, in the absence of PFC, form a monolayer. MIN6 pseudoislets secrete insulin under glucose stimulation and have potential in the therapy of type‐1 diabetes. In addition, PFC emulsions are...

Zusammenfassung: | So far, but no further. In addition, PFC emulsions are expected to facilitate islet graft survival, owing to their oxygen‐carrying capacity. |
