Splenic rupture following laparoscopic salpingectomy

The case of a 40-year-old woman who developed a splenic rupture following laparoscopic salpingectomy is discussed. Postoperative hemodynamic compromise led to the patient being returned to surgery, where the rupture was repaired and the spleen excised.
