Zusammenfassung: | Pressman presents a framework in which to consider the group psychotherapy of children and adolescents traumatized on the Sep 11 attack. Group psychotherapy may foster personal growth in children and adolescent through respect for, and understanding of, their anger and mourning, humility regarding the cruel reality they are forced to accept and a belief in their ability to survive. One must consider the groups beyond the small treatment group to help guide young people to believe in a better future illuminated by their own curiosity and creativity and changed through their determination. |
