In this paper the authors trace the historical evolution of the recognition, diagnosis, and treatment of pediatric intracerebral AVMs, and they summarize the contemporary approach and current controversies surrounding treatment of these lesions. Important distinctions between adult and pediatric AVMs are emphasized. |
