Zusammenfassung: | Digital photography has become a practical alternative to conventional film photography for medical documentation, communication, and education. The use of digital cameras has become increasingly popular in recent years for documenting perioperative conditions, intraoperative findings, and imaging studies. However, taking intraoperative pictures or video clips may be technically demanding for assistants or nurses. Herein, we describe a simple and effective method for surgeons to create photographic and video records of operations under sterile conditions involving the use of a digital camera encased in commercially available protective housing. |
