Zusammenfassung:Aim:  To clarify the clinical features of pregnancy and neonatal respiratory problems associated with diffuse chorioamniotic hemosiderosis (DCH). Methods:  Sixteen singleton cases of DCH without chorioamnionitis (CAM) were retrospectively analyzed and compared with gestation‐ and birthweight‐matched controls (32 cases of CAM and 32 cases of non‐DCH‐non‐CAM). Maternal symptoms and respiratory problems of the infants were investigated. Results:  All 16 cases with DCH resulted in preterm delivery from 23 to 35 weeks' gestation.
