Quick fix of bent prongs of the thermodilution cardiac output connector of a Swan-Ganz catheter

Efforts to straighten the pins can be tedious and unsuccessful, whereas replacement of the catheter is wasteful and carries risk to the patient. Because pin bending is less frequent now than it was with equipment of years past, many anesthesiologists may be unaware of an old solution to the problem.
