8-Demethoxyrunanine from Sinomenium acutum

A new hasubanane-type alkaloid, named 8-demethoxyrunanine, was isolated from the rhizome of Sinomenium acutum. Its structure was determined by spectroscopic methods and X-ray diffraction analysis.
