Zusammenfassung:This report describes the first case of primary leiomyosarcoma of the submandibular salivary glands and emphasizes the role of immunohistochemical study for a correct diagnosis of this tumour. In line with results of international literature, we associated surgery with radiotherapy and 2 years postoperatively there was no sign of recurrence.
