Zusammenfassung:Abstract The occurrence of malignant catatonia in pregnancy is a psychiatric emergency. In this article, we present the case of a pregnant woman with a first psychotic episode with catatonic features, autonomic abnormalities and elevated creatinine phosphokinase levels in the context of a severe adverse reaction to antipsychotic pharmacotherapy who had good responses to electroconvulsive therapy and lorazepam.
