Zusammenfassung:	We report a case of an 11-year-old boy with osteosarcoma of the proximal humerus treated with wide excision and reconstruction with a cement spacer-prosthesis. After seven years of follow-up, the patient is now almost a young adult. We present his current physical and functional status, which seems to defray the initial doubts regarding long-term problems when we chose this method of reconstruction.
