Zusammenfassung:Top of the P‐O‐Ps: Stabilization of a cationic rhodium catalyst with the hemilabile P‐O‐P ligand dpephos allows efficient intermolecular hydroacylation of challenging substrates (see scheme). Structural studies have established the role of the coordination of the oxygen atom, and a catalytically competent acyl–hydridorhodium intermediate was fully characterized.
