Zusammenfassung:The possible causes of abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting are numerous. Although abdominal images obtained using various techniques can be used to aid in the differential diagnosis, sometimes the inability of a technique to produce a clear image is clue in itself. Here, Bernstein et al detail a case of a 68-year-old man who was hospitalized after acute onset of severe abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting in which the value of a "non-visualised" image is illustrated.
